- Seventh One UI 8 beta rolling out now
- One UI 8 has been out for 6 weeks
- Full rollout rumoured to be just over a week away
Samsung has rolled out its seventh One UI 8 beta for the Galaxy S25 series, leaving us to wonder when the final version of its latest UI will actually roll out.
There’s evidence that Samsung has commenced rolling out the seventh One UI 8 beta to Galaxy S25, S25+, and Galaxy S25 Ultra handsets in Germany, the UK and South Korea.
It seems this latest update fixes six bugs, including a series of Lock Screen glitches and a broken Bluetooth sound. The update is around 600MB in size.
Where is One UI 8?
Suffice to say, Samsung fans are growing a little impatient for their One UI 8 update.
It’s been a month and half since this Android 16-based UI officially rolled out with the launch of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Galaxy Z Flip 7.
The Fold 7, of course, runs on the exact same Snapdragon 8 Elite chip as the Galaxy S25. Which makes you wonder why it’s taking so long to get One UI 8 out to what remains Samsung’s flagship phone series.
Hopefully we don’t have too long to wait. Just last week X user @Alfaturk16 claimed that One UI 8 was finally going to start rolling out to the original Galaxy S25 trio on 18 September, followed by the Galaxy S25 Edge, the Galaxy S24, the Galaxy A56 5G, and the Galaxy A36 5G on 25 September.
The vast number of eligible Samsung devices will be getting the update in October, with a few stragglers set for November.
If accurate, then, this latest beta could be the final on before One UI 8 is officially released. And not before time.
