Google’s Pixel 8 Pro is one of the best smartphones you can get right now.
It ranks second in our best phones round-up, beaten only by the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra.
One of the few reasons not to buy one is the high launch price: from £999/$999. But what if I told you that a mega discount on the Pixel 8 Pro means it’s not priced like a mid-range phone? That’s not some far-fetched dream, but the reality right now.
During the Prime Day sale, Amazon is offering the in the UK, which is nearly a staggering £400 cheaper than it was just a few months ago.
This is the cheapest price we’ve seen from Amazon. Giffgaff did have it even cheaper last month, but you had to pair the phone with a SIM to take advantage of the stellar price.
American Prime members can also get a discount, with the in the colour Bay, an all-time low price in the States.
The only catch with these deals is that you must be a to take advantage. Fortunately, you can get a 30-day free trial if you’re new to the site, and now is a perfect time to sign up as today and tomorrow is Prime Day, so there are plenty more offers to take advantage of.
It’s likely that this deal will only last until tomorrow, 17 July 2024, so get in quick.

Note that the UK price is just on the Obsidian and Bay colourways, with 128GB of storage. The Porcelain version (pictured) is still discounted, but costs £639. The 256GB versions also have savings of up to £386.
Looking for something more affordable? The regular Pixel 8 is down to just £474 from its £699 launch price – again, the lowest prices we’ve seen on Amazon having checked the history.
