How and when to watch all Premier League games

The Premier League isn’t far from the conclusion with Man City holding the top spot, being chased by Man United, Leicester, Chelsea and West Ham. Every single fixture is currently available to watch on TV and online, some for free. Here’s how to watch live on Sky Sports, BT Sport, BBC and Amazon Prime.

Following on from last season’s unusual ending, matches are back to a fairly normal schedule, albeit without fans packing the stands. For a while, some games were available on a pay-per-view basis (at £14.95 each) via BT Sports Box Office and Sky Sports Box Office. However, this has been scrapped for the rest of the season.

Although Sky Sports continues to be the main place to watch the Premier League, there are lots of options available for 2021 including free-to-air games on BBC.

What Premier League games are on TV?

Below you can see what games are on UK TV channels, with kick-off times and dates. We’ll update this for upcoming games each week throughout the season.

How to watch the Premier League on Sky Sports

You probably already know, but Sky Sports is the main place to watch the Premier League.

Sky has its own dedicated channel for the sport and you’ll find games on others, too. There will be more live games than ever before with at least 146, plus six added matches in September.

Sky Q customers with a Sky Sports package can tune into games on TV or online via Sky Go.

How to watch the Premier League on Now TV

If you don’t want to commit to a Sky contract and satellite dish on your house then that’s not a problem. Sky has its Now TV streaming service as an alternative option.

Now TV is available on a wide range of devices including smartphones and games consoles and now offers HD quality if you buy the Now TV Boost option.

Your options are a Day Pass (24 hours of access) from £9.98 and while it currently comes with a 5-month Mobile Month Pass, it’s going to make much more sense to get the Month Pass if you plan to watch every weekend – the monthly pass is £33.99pm.

You can stream on up to two devices, or three if you get Now TV Boost.

How to watch the Premier League on BT Sport

Your secondary place for Premier League action after Sky is BT Sport. This season, there will be more than 61 live games available.

There are a few options when signing up to BT Sport, firstly by taking BT Broadband. Put your postcode into the website to see what deals are available.

On the TV side, prices start at £7.50 per month for six months and you’ll get all four BT Sport channels and BoxNation.

You can also just use the BT Sport app – works on mobile, tablet, smart TV and console – and buy the Monthly Pass for £25pm. Depending on your device, you’ll still be able to watch in up to 4K HDR quality.

Sky customers can get BT Sport added from £29.99pm. BT also offers a combined package with Sky Sports via Now TV, which is £20pm for six months on a half-price deal. The VIP package adds even more, including Sky Cinema, for £65pm.

How to watch the Premier League on Amazon Prime Video

Over the last couple of years, Amazon has gradually increased the amount of sport shown on its Prime Video streaming service. While tennis remains the main sport, there are a few Premier League games available.

When they are (check the schedule above) you can watch via a web browser or use the Prime Video app on a wide range of devices to tune in.

If you’re already an Amazon Prime member then you have access to Prime Video included in your subscription. Otherwise, it’s a choice between £7.99 a month or £79 per year.

You can take advantage of a 30-day free trial, too.

How to watch the Premier League on BBC

Following the Premier League’s return to BBC last season, the Beeb is showing more free-to-air games this time around.

You’ll be able to tune in to Match of the Day Live to watch games for free (if you have a TV licence.) either simply by finding BBC One on terrestrial TV or via the BBC iPlayer, which means you can stream on a huge range of devices including smart TVs, phones, tablets, consoles and more.
