How to watch Star Wars Celebration 2022

If you cannot get enough of The Mandalorian, the Skywalker story and all things set in a galaxy far, far away, then you should not be missing out on the annual Star Wars Celebration.

This year there is plenty of Star Wars content to look forward to, including the imminent launch of Obi-Wan Kenobi (among several other Disney+ series) and the 20th anniversary of Episode II: Attack of the Clones, and this event is the place to hear all the latest news and announcements about these titles and more.

Whilst the Star Wars Celebration will be an in-person event, there is a way to tune into the panels and news as they happen. Here is everything you need to know. You can also check out our similar guide for watching the Summer Game Fest.

When is the Star Wars Celebration?

Star Wars celebration kicks off on Thursday 26 May 2022 and finishes on Sunday 29 May 2022. There will be panels and events across all four days of the convention.

How to watch Star Wars Celebration panels

The Star Wars Celebration will be taking place in Anaheim, California. If you are lucky enough to live on the West Coast of the USA (or have no qualms about getting there on short notice), then some limited tickets are still available – so you can get all the in-person perks of cons such as photo ops, autographs and fan meet-ups.

For those without tickets, never fear. You will be able to watch along via the livestreams, which will be broadcast on the official Star Wars YouTube channel and the Star Wars website.

What panels and news will be at the Star Wars Celebration?

As we are so close to the launch of Obi-Wan Kenobi, it is highly possible that we may get another teaser, or an exclusive clip from the series ahead of its debut on Friday 27 May 2022.

Now that Andor has been confirmed to release this summer, we may get a more specific release date for the Diego Luna-led series.

There are other Disney+ shows that may get news, including The Mandalorian season 3, Ahsoka and Rangers of the New Republic. We may also find out if The Book of Boba Fett will be returning for another season (I am not holding my breath on that one). We will also hear more about the second season of the animated series The Bad Batch.

The panel ‘Tales of the Jedi’ will explore a brand-new animated anthology series in the Star Wars universe, so this could be another fresh project for Disney+.

Gaming-wise, we may see news about the follow ups to LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, or more information about the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic remake. There may even be some brand-new announcements at the event.

On the film side, there is a possibility that we may get news about Patty Jenkins’ Rogue Squadron movie, Taika Waititi’s Star Wars project, as well as the Michael Waldron-led film.

You can see the full schedule of the event here. Here are some of the most anticipated panels of Star Wars Celebration, and what time they will be airing:
