The Xiaomi 17 range was confirmed to run on the 8 Elite Gen 5 even ahead of the Snapdragon Summit.
This consists of the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max. Yes, Xiaomi has skipped the 16 model number and also switched from Ultra to Pro Max for the top-of-the-range model to mirror the iPhone range.
