- OnePlus reveals launch date for OxygenOS 16
- 16 October is when it will commence
- List of devices that will receive it mostly known
OnePlus has revealed when it will be rolling out its next major Android skin, OxygenOS 16, as well as confirming which smartphones and tablets will be receiving it.
Owners of the OnePlus 13, the OnePlus Nord 5 and more have been impatiently waiting for their phones to get the Android 16 treatment for several months now.
Thankfully, OnePlus has put an end to all of the speculation. After teasing the rollout date last week, the company has posted to X that the OxygenOS 16 update will commence on 16 October – that’s next Thursday.
This doesn’t mean that all eligible OnePlus devices will receive OxygenOS 16 on this date, just that the rollout will commence. We’d expect newer devices to be first in line.
The region you’re in could also play a part in determining the speed of the rollout. OnePlus is particularly strong in India, so don’t be surprised to see customers in that country near the front of the line.

With that in mind, and as handily spelled out through this helpful OnePlus Community post, the following OnePlus phones are in line to receive the OxygenOS 16:
