Amazon’s Prime Video streaming service is getting a generative AI feature, , which can be used to help you recall episodes or entire seasons of TV shows that you’ve watched in the past, but may not remember much from.

X-Ray Recaps should even be able to recap short sections of an episode that you might have missed because you left the room for a while during a TV show. The technology is based on Amazon Bedrock and managed via AWS. Amazon also promises that the feature will be spoiler-free.

Prime Video’s X-Ray Recaps will initially be available for Amazon’s own original series in the US. At the moment, it’s not known when the AI feature will appear in the UK.
