Renders of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro have emerged online, revealing the design of Samsung’s big new smartphone model of early 2026.
Back in July we brought you the news that Samsung may be doing away with the standard Samsung Galaxy S model, replacing a hypothetical Samsung Galaxy S26 with a Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro.
Now Android Headlines has supplied renders showcasing that Pro device’s design.
Pro or con?
Somewhat disappointingly, given the name change, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro is looking quite a lot like the Samsung Galaxy S25.
From these images, it appears to have broadly the same flat-edged design, albeit with slightly curved edges and slimmer but larger dimensions of 149.3 x 71.4 x 6.96mm.
Also new is a long camera module housing the three lenses. Even that little flourish has been lifted from other 2025 Samsung phones like the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 and the Samsung Galaxy A56 (pictured below).

Samsung Galaxy S26 Pro specs
There are plenty of additional details that should be of interest, such as the confirmation that there will be no Galaxy S26+ either. The Samsung Galaxy S26 Edge will be taking its place in the range.
The first ‘Pro’ feature to note is a slightly larger display. Gone is the Galaxy S25’s 6.1-inch AMOLED, to be replaced by a 6.3-inch variant.
We also learn that the Galaxy S26 Pro is likely to be powered by an overclocked ‘for Galaxy’ variant of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chip. Don’t rule out some Exynos involvement for certain markets, however.
It’ll likely have 16GB of RAM, which is a decidedly Pro spec, though Samsung will likely position it towards greater AI use.
A claimed 4,300mAh battery would be quite a bit larger than the 4,000mAh cell of the Galaxy S25, though that’s still on the smaller side within a wider smartphone context. Samsung clearly isn’t going all in on silicon-carbon technology in early 2026.

Finally with the Qi2
Perhaps the most interesting (yet somehow also predictable) spec claim here is that the Galaxy S26 Pro will come with magnets built in, like the Google Pixel 10 Pro and iPhone 17, for Qi2 wireless charging support. About time too.
But the big Pro feature could be a shift in camera spec. Rather than the 12MP ultra-wide camera that has accompanied the last few Galaxy S generations, we could be looking at a 50MP replacement.
Expect to see something official from Samsung in January, and plenty of other leaks and rumours before that.
