Best Buy’s Black Friday sales event is well underway. The US retailer began discounting products on 19 November, with many deals continuing throughout Cyber Monday and beyond – some may even extend into December.
A huge range of electricals are available at Best Buy, from phones and laptops to headphones and smart home products. Many are eligible for free home delivery, or you can click and collect at one of the 1000+ stores across the US.
However, some deals are exclusive to members. Signing up for a My Best Buy account is completely free, although you’ll pay $199.99 per year (excl. tax) to be a Best Buy Totaltech member – there are plenty of other perks to help justify the cost.

If you’re looking for something specific over the holiday season our advice is clear: make sure you’ve checked other retailers and the manufacturer itself to be sure you’re getting the best price.
Plus, with so much uncertainty around finance and retail, and no guarantees regarding what discounts we will see, we advise you not to wait: if you see a deal you like, on a product you need, and you can afford the outlay, buy it today.
Don’t be overly concerned about the size of the discount or the percentage; ensure that the price your paying is actually a good value for money. This is why we’d recommend looking up a product review before you buy, as you might be better off with a lower price on a previous model on certain products, like a Fitbit or iPhone, for example.
