OnePlus launched the new OnePlus 8T phone last October just a day after Apple unveiled the iPhone 12 – and now six months later it’s back with the OnePlus 9 range. That’s great news if you’re after the 8T as prices are steeply declining.
While the 8T doesn’t have a larger 8T Pro sibling, it does boast a flat 6.55in, 120Hz display, and ditches the curved glass of the standard 8. There’s also a sizeable 4,500mAh battery and 65W Warp Charge, up from the OnePlus 8’s 30W.

How much does the OnePlus 8T cost?
While there isn’t a Pro model of the 8T, in two configurations and price-points:
- OnePlus 8T 8GB/128GB – £549 – unavailable in the US
- OnePlus 8T 12GB/256GB – £649/US$749 – now $599
The phones launched at £50/$50 less than the equivalent OnePlus 8 models. In our review of the OnePlus 8T we called it an “incredibly competitive budget flagship”.
Best OnePlus 8T SIM-free deals
Right now, both Amazon and John Lewis have £100 off the 8GB RAM/128GB storage option and the 12GB RAM/256GB storage option (get it from Amazon or John Lewis). This drops prices to £449 and £549, respectively. These are the only two UK retailers selling the 8T SIM-free.
If you go directly from OnePlus, over in the US there’s $150 off the , dropping the price to $599.
Best OnePlus 8T deals on contract
In the UK, OnePlus phones are usually stocked exclusively by , but it doesn’t look like it’s decided to pick up the 8T.
