The Six Nations is back for another year so here’s what you need to know



The Six Nations is back for another year and kicks off on 5 February. Here’s where and when to watch all the games on TV or streaming online.

Six Nations 2022: Fixtures & TV channels

Below we have a list of all the Six Nations games over the five weeks. You can see the date, who’s playing, kick-off time and what channel it’s being broadcast on. All times are GMT and the first team is playing home.

Round 1

  • 5 Feb – Ireland vs Wales – 2:15pm, ITV, S4C
  • 5 Feb – Scotland vs England – 4:45pm, BBC
  • 6 Feb – France vs Italy – 3pm, ITV

Round 2

  • 12 Feb – Wales vs Scotland – 2:15pm, BBC, S4C
  • 12 Feb – France vs Ireland – 4:45pm, ITV
  • 13 Feb – Italy vs England – 3pm, ITV

Round 3

  • 26 Feb – Scotland vs France – 2:15pm, BBC
  • 26 Feb – England vs Wales – 4:45pm, ITV, S4C

Watch Six Nations online for free

Every match in the tournament will be shown on BBC One or ITV One, so you can tune in on your TV or online. All Wales games will also be shown on .

To watch live online via a PC or laptop you can use the BBC or ITV’s own streaming services, and . You can opt to pay for if you want to watch ad-free, although not for live streams, as well as simultaneous streams and downloads.

If you’re not watching via a web browser, then apps are free to download to a phone or tablet from the App Store or Google Play.
