In a bid to steal the spotlight from Amazon, Currys PC World is kicking off a series of live shopping events that overlap with Prime Day. It also coincides with the launch of Currys own Epic Deals sales event, which started today and runs until 25 June.
While Amazon Prime Day runs from 21-22 June, Currys’ QVC-style events will take place on the 17th, 21st, and 22nd of June. The events will feature live, interactive product demos of Tefal products and exclusive discounts on Google products. The deals will only last for 24 hours, however, and will only be available to those who tune into the Currys ShopLive stream.
You can add the events to your calendar or follow the schedule below:
- 17 June, 7pm – Tefal devices hands-on event
- 21 June, 7pm – Google Nest event
- 22 June, 7pm – Google Pixel event
Exclusive deals include £10 off the Google Nest Hub (2nd gen) which currently costs £59.97 at Currys (£89.99 if bought directly ) and £20 off the Google Pixel 4a phone, which is currently listed for £299 at Currys. Again, you’ll need to watch the ShopLive event to get the discount.
The 17 June event will feature hands-on demos of Tefal’s Ultraglide FV4093 Steam Iron (now £29.99) and Pro Express Protect GV9221 High Pressure Steam Iron (now £299). Viewers can ask questions about the products live through the demonstration.
