Vivo announced the X60 will arrive in the UK, but when? We’re tracking where to buy it here

Vivo announced the global launch of its X60 range on 25 March – except the details around when the UK will see the phones remain uncertain. We’re keeping track of everything you need to know here.

The X60 and X60 Pro launched last December in China, along with the X60 Pro+ in January 2021. It’s uncertain when (or whether) the X60 or X60 Pro+ will make it to the UK, though the X60 Pro is expected to launch both in the UK and Europe – so until we learn more about the other models, we’ll focus on the X60 Pro here.

The X60 Pro features a 6.56in 120Hz AMOLED display, along with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage. As for the processor, the global version of the Vivo X60 Pro uses the Snapdragon 870 chip in place of the Exynos 1080 found in the Chinese version. Read our full review of the X60 Pro.

The camera was a main talking point for the Vivo X51 last year, as it was the first to integrate a gimbal into the camera module. The X60 Pro will offer the second-generation gimbal, with the added flourish of cameras built in partnership with Zeiss, which promises further refinements in image quality. The camera array includes a 48Mp main sensor, a 13Mp-ultrawide, and a 13Mp 2x zoom lens. The phone will be available in black and shimmer blue.

Here we’re keeping track of all the news around Vivo X60 Pro pricing and availability.

How much does X60 Pro cost?

UK pricing on the X60 Pro is yet to be confirmed, though a Snapdragon 870 processor suggests prices may be mid-range.

For now, we can turn to Chinese pricing on the X60 Pro that places it at  ¥4,498 (£515/$695), though it’s also possible prices might mirror last year’s X51 which cost £749/€799.

But competition is stiff if Vivo keeps prices high, , given the X30 is one of three phones to have launched this week with the Snapdragon 870 in tote. Motorola’s Moto G100 launched on 25 March at £449, while the budget Xiaomi Poco F3 launched on 22 March with a starting price of £329. How will the Vivo’s X60 Pro fare?

Where to buy the Vivo X60 Pro

The Vivo X60 is due to launch in the UK, France, Germany, Italy, Austria, and eastern Europe. We expect UK customers should be able to buy it directly from Vivo UK.

While other retailers have not been confirmed, Laptops Direct and Box currently have the Vivo X51 in stock. It’s possible these retailers may also carry the Vivo X60 Pro when it releases in the UK.
