Vodafone UK customers get Discovery+ free for six months

Customers on a UK Vodafone monthly phone plan can now get an Entertainment Pass from Discovery+ completely free for six months, which provides coverage of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020.

The offer is only available to pay-monthly customers, and for new members of Discovery+. You must stay with Vodafone for the duration of six months to keep getting the service for free. You can claim the Vodafone Discovery+ offer here, or access it via the Vodafone app.

The pass usually costs £4.99 per month, so users are saving nearly £30. For the Olympics, you can watch 55 live event feeds, 3,500 hours of coverage and 2,000 hours of on-demand action.

Coverage will be presented by Greg Rutherford MBE, Sir Bradley Wiggins, Joanna Rowsell MBE, Orla Chennaoui, Reshmin Chowdhury and Radzi Chinyanganya.

Once the six months are up, customers will be billed an extra £4.99 on top of their contract. However, if you don’t want to pay anything at all, the subscription can be cancelled before this time. You can read the full terms and conditions here

Discovery+ also has a variety of originals, dramas and reality shows to watch, including 90 Day Fiancé, Aussie Gold Hunters, Gold Rush, Meghan & Harry: Recollections May Vary and The Devil Made Me Do It.

This is not the only deal available on Discovery+. Sky Q customers can claim 12 months of the service entirely free. If you’re not a Vodafone or Sky customer, you can still get a seven-day free trial of the service by signing up for Discovery+ here
