The Champions League is back for its 29th season since rebranding, and 66th overall.

After the coronavirus-delayed 2019-20 campaign ended with a knockout tournament in Portugal, this season’s competition is running as planned so far.

Bayern Munich are the holders, having defeated PSG in last season’s final. They’re playing each other in the quarter-finals this season, and are joined by Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea in the last eight. Man Utd were knocked out in the group stages and so are now competing in the Europa League.
