It’s been nearly a decade since the release of an animated buddy cop comedy about a bunny police officer and a fox con artist. This year, fans of Zootopia will return to the world of anthropomorphic animals to witness new adventures of the plucky Judy Hopps and cunning Nick Wilde.
In Zootopia 2, also known as Zootropolis 2 in the UK, the duo will become entangled in a criminal affair involving a mysterious reptile, Gary De’Snake. To find the creature and crack the case, Judy and Nick will have to go undercover in the most inaccessible areas of the animal city and face its strangest inhabitants.

When could tickets for Zootopia 2 go on sale?
The sequel to Zootopia will hit theatres on Wednesday, 26 November 2025. Considering that this is one of Disney’s biggest releases this year, ticket sales will likely begin several weeks in advance.
Fans could book tickets for Lilo & Stitch, another widely popular Disney animation, two and a half weeks before the movie opened in cinemas. In the case of Elio and Moana 2, tickets went on sale even earlier, over three and over four weeks before the films’ premieres, respectively.
Therefore, we estimate that tickets for Zootopia 2 may be available for sale from Monday, 27 October 2025. We’ll update this article as soon as we have more information.
