If you’re wondering, Vodafone bundles the entire Prime service with its plans – not just Prime Video as is the case with O2 and . That means you’ll not only get access to Prime Video (which costs £5.99 on its own), but also free next-day delivery, early access to discounts, Amazon Prime Music, Twitch Prime (ie. Amazon Gaming), Prime Photos, and much, much more. See our full guide to Amazon Prime.

Right now, it’s one of the only ways of getting Prime for free outside of signing up for the 30-day free trial. Otherwise, a Prime membership costs £7.99 per month or £79 a year. You can also use the method below to get Spotify Premium or YouTube Premium instead of Prime.

How to activate Amazon Prime for free with Vodafone

Once you have your new Entertainment plan, you should receive a text prompting you to set up the service. If you haven’t received the message, text ‘ENTERTAINMENT’ to 97613. You will not be charged.

Alternatively, log in via the , where you’ll be prompted to enter your phone number. Once you do, Vodafone will send you a 6-digit PIN to login (don’t share this PIN with anyone as it allows access into your Vodafone account).

You should now be able to choose Amazon Prime from the list of services.

Keep in mind: once you choose Amazon Prime, you won’t be able to change it to another service.

How to get Amazon Prime via Vodafone if you’re already a Prime member

If you already have an Amazon Prime account, you’ll have to cancel it to get access via Vodafone’s offer. Here’s how to cancel Amazon Prime.

If you’ve paid for a full year upfront, you will have to speak with Amazon’s customer service to get a refund on the months remaining on our account.

If you’re on a monthly payment plan, you’ll still have access to Prime services until your billing cycle ends (as you would have paid already). Once you’ve reached the end of the billing cycle, sign up for Prime via Vodafone again to switch over.
