It’s been a few years since we have seen a standalone Batman film, and so anticipation has been building for Matt Reeves’s take on the Caped Crusader. Robert Pattinson will star as Bruce Wayne and he will be joined by the likes of Zoë Kravitz as Catwoman, Colin Farrell as Penguin and Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth.

When do The Batman tickets go on sale?
The Batman tickets will go on sale on 10 February 2022.

In the US, AMC has confirmed that they will be releasing tickets on this date. We don’t yet have any confirmation from UK cinemas. For The Matrix Resurrections, there was a slight delay between the on-sale date for US and UK theatres.
We’ll add more information when we have it – along with estimates on release times.

Will The Batman release on HBO Max and other streaming services?
Whilst The Batman will eventually release for streaming, it won’t be at the same time it releases in cinemas.
New Warner Bros. films in 2022 will arrive on HBO Max 46 days after the initial theatrical release, which means that The Batman will hit the platform on 19 April 2022.
You can sign up for HBO Max on the website, with prices starting from $9.99 per month.
In the UK, the streaming release hasn’t yet been confirmed – but it could come to the Sky-owned platform Now around a similar time.
DVD and Blu-ray copies of The Batman are likely to arrive a few months after the film hits cinemas.
